SPIDER-MAN : NO WAY HOME

On "Spider-Man : No Way Home", me and few other artists where in charge of building the entire environment where Peter is fighting electro : a power line in the middle of an automn forest. 


We started by blocking and sculpting the terrain as well as locking the power line in space. Once this step was signed off we could then dress the environment.


To do so we created and ingested a lot of assets (from Megascans, Speedtree, ...etc.) like rocks, plants, trees and then we distribute them across the environment. Maya was used for the big elements and all the heavy instancing generation was done in Houdini.


All the datas were exported to Katana using the USD pipeline tools from Luma and the final shots were rendered using Arnold afterward.
